I was very glad to perform reading in front of wonderful audience including those who are from Madagascar and Mauritius. At the same time, I felt strong sense of responsibility as a performer to deliver the messages. Mr. Jean P G Aznar, Ms. Brigitte Pellat, Mr. Metwally Gamal, and Ms. Vera Levy helped me with French translation. Ms. Vera Levy, my friend in Paris, took a part of reading in French. |

Performed bilingual tanka reading in Japan with Ms. Kathabela Wilson. Graduate schools of University of Tsukuba, and Nagoya University, co-hosted "Study group in honor of Mr. Rick Wilson." Rick is a Mathematician and Kathabela's husband. Afterwards, Kathabela and I did bilingual tanka reading performance to offer an opportunity for the participants to get to know Japanese culture and literature. |

I was invited as one of the three featured writer for monthly poetry reading "Third Sunday Salon" held in the beautiful city Healdsburg close to Santa Rosa in California, and given an opportunity to do some tanka reading. Performing in front of the audience from teenagers to seniors, I felt very honored to be given an opportunity to intorduce Tanak to them. |
