Apr. 2, 2012 Being invited as a guest, I appeared on "Musashino On-line", a live radio program of Musashino FM. In the very friendly atmosphere, I really enjoyed talking in the program. Feb. 19, 2011 I appeared on the radio program on FM Taman. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Yoko Tamaki, Chief of "Kurenai Tanka Kai", for her special offer to spend most of the program time for my Tanka reading. As I did last year, I visited some battle sites while my stay, and learned more about Battle of Okinawa. It was a very good opportunity for me to renew my determination to attain peace before my attendance to the 16th Peace & Antiwar Festival in Okinawa in June. |

Nov. 6, 2011 Performed reading at a English Tanka workshop in Monterey, California. As requested by the host, I presented the original works of Izumi-Shikibu, Rengetsu Otagaki, Takuboku Ishikawa, Shiki Masaoka, in chronological order, in addition to the English version of my original Tanka works. I am proud of the participants' sincerity and creativity for Tanka, and I would like to continue support them in whatever way I can. |
