I performed tanka reading with Beverley George at Sydney (Beecroft) Australia. When I heard that all the seats were booked on the day advance reservation started, I braced up myself. It's been a great pleasure to see more than 50 people gathered at the event. With a brief explanation of Tanka history, I performed tanka reading. I was very happy because many of the Haiku loveres got interested in Tanka with my performance.

At a charity event to help those who suffer from the Great East Japan Earthquake held at "Cafe KAZE NO EKI" at Mitaka-city Tokyo, I performed Tanka reading.
Photographs I took were displayed at the event site. Although it was a rainy day, I was very happy to see so many people joined us.

Being invited as a guest, I appeared on "Musashino On-line", a live radio program of Musashino FM.
In the very friendly atmosphere, I really enjoyed talking in the program. I was so happy when I was told, "We should have spared more time for tanka-reading..." I wish we work together in a near future. Photograph: With Mr. Tatsuhiko Nishi, the host of the program.
