April 17, 2015 Pasadena, CA, USA. Ms. Teresa M., an excellent poet I got acquainted last year in the U.S., translated my sequence "about Vietnam" in Vietnamese. As a token of gratitude for it, I translated her strong poems based upon her own experience. And today, we were able to have a trilingual reading session of Japanese, English, and Vietnamese. I really appreciate Ms. Kathabela Wilson, who organized this wonderful event, and offered her house to host it. |

April 12, 2015 Pasadena, CA, USA Performed tanka reading at Rattle Reading Series held in Flintridge Bookstore & Cofeehouse. I am so grateful to the fact that I was given an opportunity to recite as one of the honorable featured writers in Rattle #47, "Japanese Form". At the same time, I believe that it was a meaningful event to international spread of the future of tanka, since I was able to introduce the depth of tanka to all the Rattle readers.
