Acted as a substitute personality for Ms. Yoko Tamaki's radio program. Thanks to the great help of Ms. Kyo Hoshino, the guest to the program, and Mr. Kishimoto, a staff of FM Taman, I was able to finish the very important roll without any difficulties. Thank you very much for the precious experience!

Attended the Requiem Concert of the 17th Okinawa Peace & Antiwar Festival in Itoman-city together with the members of Ms. Yoko Tamaki's "Kurenai Tanka Kai" and Ms. Katsuyo Kina's "Sumire Tanka Kai." Both of these Tanka groups have been particpating this event for eight years to date. I did some Tanka reading and played background music, while Mr. Yukihiro Gushi played Okinawan harp together with us.
performance_2012_06_17_03.jpg I started participating to this event in 2009, and it was my 4th year.
Having 104 pieces of tanka poems sent from all over Japan, the event held in the year of the 40th anniversary of Okinawa's reversion to Japan was very successful and meaningful. I believe in the importance of this annual event, and would like to conitinue being a part of it.

Attended a tanka-reading gathering at the house of Ms. Yoko Tamaki, the Chief of "Kurenai Tanka Kai." I performed reading of Tanka and Essays while playing musical instruments, which I brought from Tokyo, such as Hamone, Tibetan bells, Rainsticks and chajchas. It was really wonderful that Mr. Yukihiro Gushi, an Okinawan dancer & musician, played Okinawan harp as a background music, which added very nice flavor to the performance.
