Nov. 3rd, 2018, I was invited and performed tanka reading at KOTEN-NO-HI, the day of classics, hosted by Chubu Nihon Kajinkai. It was a precious opportunity and I feel deep thanks to everyone involved in this event. Also, I am very honored to the closing words made by Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Tanaka. Mr. Suzuki, the chairman of Chubu Nihon Kajinkai, said, "I felt as if my soul was embraced by the soul of tanka-reading. It was a very new feeling I experienced ever. It was a wonderful performance." Mr. Tanaka, the secretary general of Chubu Nihon Kajinkai, said, "In the beginning, I was somewhat bothered by the noise from the outside of the room, however, after a while, I did not even hear the noise at all." |
