Sept. 21, 2012 Europe for the first time, Paris, France

performance_2012_09_21.jpg Sep. 21, It was my very first tanka reading performance in Japanese & French. My tanka was translated into French by Ms. Yasuko Kudaka and Mr. Metwally "Tsukasa" Gamal, both of who worked on French translation of "Man-yo-shu", The Anthology of Myriad Leaves. The reading in French was performed by Mr. Antonio Francica, the Director of Centre Cultuel Italien. Although only a short notice was made via newsletter, I was very happy to have been able to do our reading performance in front of so many audience. I believe this opportunity came ture because my passion toward internationalization of tanka and the world peace was accepted by many people who helped us for this event. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude toward them.
